About
From an early age, I knew that art and creativity were my passion. It wasn’t until my younger sister experienced a complicated arm injury that the idea of product design come into focus. After watching her endure hours of physical therapy with a poorly designed medical device it became my mission to improve the user experience with products. Since then, I have been actively learning and growing in the field of design and hope that the products I create make an impact in people’s lives.
Today my design expertise has brought me to FIGS where I work to support healthcare professionals by creating technical, comfortable, and functional healthcare apparel. The fast-paced, innovative, and forward thinking culture has solidified my passion for design.
Designing also goes hand in hand with my personal hobbies. As an avid thrifter I enjoy upcycling clothing pieces. Nowadays you can find me at a Saturday flea market shopping for new clothes. As a native to Portland, Oregon, hiking and adventuring have also played a major role in where I gain inspiration. Sustainability has and continues to play a part in how I design and I hope to continue that practice.
